| Suzanne Swannie is a professional textile artist, designer and teacher. Ms. Swannie's work has been featured in numerous North American exhibitions, e. g. the prestigious international exhibition Design since 1945 held at Philadelphia Museum of Art 1984. Ms. Swannie is the recipient of several awards including The Canada Council for the Arts' Professional Artist's Grant, 2000. Her work is represented in provincial, national and private collections. Suzanne Swannie holds a Danish hand weavers Journeyman's certificate, a degree in Textile Design and Technology from Sweden and a Master of Fine Arts from Canada.
